Home… can it be a place my heart has never known?

Landscapes of a world painted in uneven tones,

peaks and valleys yet to be explored

and wide skies sweeping with stars across Heaven’s floor.

I’ll hang my hat on the stillness of an Indian Summer eve

and find solace on the wild winds of a place unbeknownst to me.

Home is the expanse of the world and in every one of my surroundings.

It is in the wonder and the beguiling

it is in the great unknown and in all the wild things.
