Why You do This to Me

Domestic violence (physical)

By Faith RutledgePublished 6 years ago 1 min read

I stay up really late

I got tears on my face

I don’t know what to say

You take my life from me

Now I can barely breathe

I just want to be free

I have all the bruises from what you did

And all of the secrets that you hid

Baby tell me

Why you hurt me

Do I tell you things that your don’t like

Baby tell me

Why you hurt me

You hit me so you can make it right

No no no

I can’t take it no more

No no no no

Why you do this to me for

When I lye next to you

I’m scared of you

What have my life come to

I try to leave

But you catch me

I’m so naive

I have all the bruises from what you did

And all of the secrets that you hid

Baby tell me

Why you hurt me

Do I tell you things that your don’t like

Baby tell me

Why you hurt me

You hit me so you can make it right

No no no

I can’t take it no more

No no no no

Why you do this to me for
