Why Stay Here

Where the Desert Calls Your Name

By VPublished 9 months ago 1 min read

Why stay here, where the skylines sleeps,

When Vegas glows and never keeps?

Why stay where flat lands stretch for miles,

When desert peaks break into smiles?

Why stay where nights fall cold and bare,

When neon dances in desert air?

Why wait for spring to kiss your skin,

When out there, the warmth begins within?

Why stay where you're boxed inside,

When out there, the doors open wide?

Why stay where sameness dulls the day,

When Vegas paints the world in sway?

Food from every culture's hand,

Many languages you may not understand.

Why stay where you feel misplaced,

When out there, your roots are traced?

More brown skin, more curls, more light,

A city where you feel just right.

Why stay where silence chokes the streets,

When rhythm moves through Vegas beats?

Poolside lounges, rooftop bars,

Brunches buzzing under the stars.

Why stay for less when more is near?

Out there, money flows each year.

Same pay here, but twice the strain,

Out there, they hustle through gain.

Why stay where dreams are boxed in tight,

When Vegas shines through every night?

Art and hustle, drive and flame,

Out there, they remember your name.

Mountains wrap the city close,

A sacred calm that no one boasts.

Beauty meets ambition's voice,

And suddenly, there's no wrong choice.

Why stay where purpose fades to gray,

When Vegas shows a brighter way?

That's where the past became your fuel,

That's where you broke every rule.

That's where the soul began to bloom,

That's where you walked out of your gloom.

That's where the mirror showed what's true,

The place where life made space for you.

So why stay here, where you feel small,

When Vegas dares you to stand tall?
