Why, the moon has already gone,
How, the darkness blinds the light.
Who, man's on a run-a-thon,
When, it's a never-ending fight.
-
Why, all hearts are shattered through,
How, the fragments rip my soul.
Who, death discovered what is true,
When, will it ever stop at all?
-
Why, the pain sickens all health,
How, comfort causes more.
Who, we follow blood for wealth,
When, will life ever be sure?
-
Why, all joy is tainted gray,
How, all straight will now bend.
Who, on heart will dare and stay,
When, will it ever end?

The seemingly unanswerable questions somehow give life its meaning...
Deep questions. Very thought-provoking. Excellent poem.
You have such talent - love the line about joy being tainted grey.
This poem really digs deep into life's big questions, huh? It’s like asking “Why is everything so tough?” and then never quite getting an answer. It has that sense of wondering and waiting for something to make sense, but with a twist of mystery that keeps you thinking!
Hauntingly beautiful poetry!
