If I'd meet up with horizon,

Perhaps I'll find my desire.

When the sun reaches its destination,

Perhaps my dreams'll fly yet higher.

*

When the stars finish lighting up,

Perhaps my heart will be well.

If not one man would chafe my mind,

Perhaps my soul will finally swell.

*

If the mind would cease to question more,

Perhaps peace will reign.

When bodies of the past will live,

Perhaps I'll find a man who's sane.

*

If night would ever dare to cease,

If hell would stop to give,

And never again will grief attack,

Perhaps if... I shall live.

Wow, this poem carries such a powerful sense of longing and introspection! I love the way you explore the "if" moments, making each line feel like a step toward peace and resolution. It's a beautiful reflection on hope and what it takes to truly live.✨
