Why do you hide your perfect?
A Sonnet of Hidden Individuality

You're quiet on the surface but I see your reflection,
You close yourself off but I see the charade,
You have light in your eyes, you hide your affection,
Why do you settle for a cheap masquerade?
Your soul is rich, bursting with glory,
Your heart is pure, your love is immense,
You have a brilliant smile and a wonderful story,
Why do you always appear to be tense?
You stand off in the corner, hide from attention,
You're incredible, truly, you refuse to reveal,
Your light, your love, your hidden intentions,
Why do you always cover up and conceal?
I love you, please know this, I need you to see,
I love you, please notice, you're perfect to me.

A woman always plays it mysterious, and then she bends, fragile like a leaf. She wants a man by her side, full of tenderness. A very authentic poem. :)
Beautifully written! The tenderness in your words really lingers; "You have light in your eyes; you hide your affection” hit me right in the heart. ✨
Beware missed opportunities...love the message.
The quiet ones are always the best ones...depth and thought behind the mask. make the first move...dare
Such a lovely poem with a beautiful heartfelt message. 👏💖
A perfect poem for someone who doesn’t know how radiant they are.✨ The way you frame “your light, your love” makes it sound like a hidden treasure.
