Why

You drove a stake direct into my heart,

Without hesitation you took the shot,

Put my life in jeopardy over a flirt,

Turned your back on me to bleed to death.

This moment is my reminder,

That epic love has an epic ending,

Know that I'm filled with rage,

And I'm transitioning into your worst nightmare.

Why take courage to do this to me,

You broke our oath by going against me,

No one deserved you better than me,

All your anger, why take it out on me.

You've left a vacuum in my fragile heart,

I've picked up the pieces and built a wall,

I've locked you deep in my subconscious,

Not even the gods can buy your freedom.
