White Winter Wind

What comes of the land during winter?

Little holes in the wood make for a hold.

The ants just borough deep in the earth.

White winter wind keeps the tombs cold.

All the while, the ants only give birth.

Time continues as those temperatures drop.

The natural scene grows even whiter.

White winter winds make some life stop.

And makes you feel like a great fighter.

To take the white winter wind

As a serious sensation on the face,

Means that the surrounding forests send

Pine cones and other things to a new place.

That white winter wind does give

And permits solemnity to those who live.
