Whispers of Doubt: Reflections on Marriage
Navigating the Uncertainty of Love's Commitment
In the quiet of the night, I ponder,
The notion of vows, to which I must surrender.
For in my heart, a whisper of doubt,
As the prospect of marriage looms about.
The thought of forever, it scares me so,
To bind my life to another, to let go.
What if love fades like shadows at dawn,
Leaving behind a heart that's withdrawn?
Marriage, they say, is a beautiful dance,
Two souls entwined in a lifelong romance.
But what if the steps are too intricate to learn,
And I stumble and fall at every turn?
The weight of expectations, they burden my soul,
As I fear losing myself in the role.
Will I become just a wife, a mere shadow of me,
Lost in the duties of matrimony?
Yet amidst the doubts, a glimmer of hope,
A promise of love that helps me cope.
For in the uncertainty, there lies a chance,
To find a partner in life's eternal dance.
So I'll take a deep breath and step into the unknown,
Embracing the journey, though fears may be shown.
For love knows no bounds, it's wild and free,
And perhaps, just perhaps, marriage is where I'm meant to be.
