Chrysanthemum

A haiku

yellow chrysanthemum

emits enchanting fragrance

winter’s offering.

Chrysanthemum blooms in winter and spreads the mild, sweet fragrance.

It is a symbol of longevity and nobility in East Asian culture. In Japan, the chrysanthemum is the imperial flower, associated with the Chrysanthemum Throne.

This flower can be concocted as tea.

They do. Since you are tea lover, let me tell, you can drink dried chrysanthemum tea.

I didn't know these flowers bloomed in winter. They're so beautiful.
