Home is Where the Heart is

They say home is where your heart resides

Well, I only at feel at home when I'm by your side

When you hold me close in your arms

The only place I'm safe from harm

When your arms wrap around my waist

I certainly do miss that place

A place that's soft and warm

Where I'm safe from thoughts that swarm

A world with just you and me

Our own little galaxy

Now that you left, I'm without a home

Because you were the only home I've ever known

Because you'll forever have my heart

Even though you left me ripped apart

Now you're gone, you've left me dear

And you'll be gone forever, I fear

If only you'd come back

My life would be once again on track

But now that I was left by you

I'm empty, cold, and homeless too

Because home is where the heart resides

And you're no longer by my side
