Where’s dad?
Mums crying, quick the fish are biting. Postpartum thoughts.

Dad fishing
I see. No support. No rapour.
Emotionally exhausted.
Tired mother. Unsupported. Is what I see.
He sees. Nagging. Annoying. Incompetence.
I see. Broken. pain. Tears.
He’s sees . Manipulation. Frustration. Aggression.
I see family portraits. Where’s dad?
He sees the end of an empty line. Feeding fish is where he’s at.
Not here with us. Drowning his fears in beer and bait. Maybe he will remember his fate.
Patiently waiting for dad to come home.
So mum might be able to have a break.

P.S I’m loving being a mum, I’m completely ok!
