Stop Lying to Yourself

Denial

You want him

but you keep lying

You tell yourself every day that he's not the one

But you know he is

You tell your friends that he's too small, too thin, too puny

but when he's around, you pay attention...you notice

You always look up to see where he is...

You turn your head when he looks in your direction

or look down when he stares directly at you

If he's standing next to you, you huff, then walk away

You're fake

You know you want him...

You're always looking him up and down

staring at his behind

staring at his crotch

staring at his face

sometimes you cross your legs tight

and rock your foot back and forth

and squirm in your seat

You clear your throat

And when he's in touching distance, you swallow hard and adjust your clothing

You look stupid in your denial
