Where Is Home?

Home

By Sheena LashayPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

My heart is racing

Senses taking over

The emotions are undeniable

Not boxed in or contained

The feeling I used to think I couldn’t explain

But now the words roll out.

From my mouth I shout I’m Home!

Not alone but in my zone

My sons on my right daughter not too far behind

I’m Home

Couches, photos designer logos these are things

That the world desires but, I don’t need

Four walls, flat screens, or expensive luxuries

My 3 seeds alongside me and that’s when it can’t be denied

Look me in my eyes, I’m Home!

In the valley or in the desert

Green pastures or camel rides

Either way it gets no better

Long as I have my three companions

Quite frankly home is wherever.
