Where I belong

Where I miss

HOME.

One word

So short and simple

But it captures an entire heart,

It captures your being, your existence,

It holds your every emotion,

And much more.

Your heart yearns for HOME,

But, it is there, where home originates.

For not many see,

Nor do they know,

A HOME simply cannot be,

Not without a heart,

So the place where you long to go,

The place where you are NEVER alone,

Is not far off,

For a HOME is not landlocked,

It will Roam

It will always be-

Wherever, or with whomever makes you happy.

If ever in your life,

When in a moment of despair,

A name, a memory, an activity, a person, or something shared,

Can provide you a smile-

One genuine and true,

Even if only for an instant,

If you have been spared,

Even an ounce of pain,

From that which you bared,

Then you have found something GREAT,

Something far greater,

As well as deeper,

Than the worth of the word itself,

But the worth of which it speaks,

Its meaning represented,

Its every hope and aspect,

Far more than skin deep,

You have found happiness,

You have seen its foundation,

And seek its peaks,

But more,

You have found a place to attach it,

Known as HOME, for you and for me.

Yet, it has more to be seen,

HOME,

A joy despite pain,

A sanctuary-

Never in vain,

Nothing lost,

But everything gained,

A place to return too,

Where NEVER turned away,

If ever in need,

Hope and strength, in HOME, there will always be,

A helping hand,

Ready on command,

You will be loved at your worst,

And cheered on at your best.

The quality of home is endless,

A place appreciated,

That never abandons,

Even when you do.

At your lowest-

You will be lifted up,

At your highest-

You will be supported.

It is something that should never be given up,

A HOME,

Is something to truly be cherished.

To find a Home, is quite the treasure,

One for which, I wish everyone LUCK-

In attaining the pleasure.
