The passage

books and stray hairs and memories

I found a

Single strand of

Memory of

You

In a book

You

Once read.

_

A memory of

Long black hair

Under my hands,

Found

In a passage about

The loneliness of life

And the

Memories

Of all the ones

We lose

In the howling wind of

Years rushing past

Under the long black darkness

Of time, lit only by

Stars.

_

Who am I

Without the ones

Who remind me

Who I am?

_

Who am I

Without

You?

_

Only a memory,

A single strand of

Memory

Hidden away in the pages

Of a closed book.
