Where did all of our time go?
Moments together and opportunities lost
Melting away like winter snow
We spend hours and hours making things just so
Fretting or frittering over source or cost
Where did all of our time go?
How things will be, only fate can know
Seize our chances, like fleeting frost
Melting away like winter snow
Seasons and places ebb and flow
Like rivers edged by plants and moss
Where did all of our time go?
Heaven above and Earth below
People gone before we knew they were lost
Melting away like winter snow
Seeing family should not require tow
Regret is as sharp as knives, the steepest cost
