People said if you went to the lagoon at midnight (or on a full moon, or with your true love, or, or...) that the merfolk could grant you a wish.

Whoa....what a story! Marvelously creepy.
No wonder I kept feeling this was familiar. I forgot a lot of the details except the deal to give away the baby. So this reread was fun for me. I loved this long version more!
Delightfully sinister
This was a great idea, putting the micros together. I like this lengthened version. Well done.
It was so good to read a full story of yours, you being the master of mini ones. This was an enjoyable tense read from start to finish. Hope to read more full length ones.
This was totally worth reading again, LC! Smells like a winner!
A great unreliable concept , really enjoyed this
I like how you brought all these pieces together! It also feels like there is a lot more story to tell here!
A/N: I strung a few of my micros together for this one, so it's going to read familiar to some! If you already read the micro versions, I don't blame you if you'd rather not read this as well. Instead, here's another recent challenge entry (Sensational II): https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/i-love-you-stinky%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E THANK YOU to those who do dive in! 😁 All reads reciprocated, and reciprocated twice where possible!
