Where are the Tautograms?

Finding the Tautograms betwixt the other stories which are not Tautograms. A poem-ish.

Betwixt the Tautograms nestled many un-Tautogrammed stories

Did they get lost or just got confused seeking the correct glory

Scratching my head at the conglomerated topics of non poetry ilk

Of wonderful fascinating stories smoothly easing in between like silk

Stories of Keto posted in Humans, and Secrets posted in Horror

Enunciating awful happenings taking place with such sorrow

Of Making money, and tales of Warren Buffett over in Education

I yawn heartily, maybe tis time for me to take a well needed vacation

There were Types of forces and Mysteries hanging out from Geeks

Pranksters, Entrepreneurs and Ramadan visited from Feast

I must confess, there was a time that I too migrated a story or two

That totally belonged to a different genre which fitted a different shoe

I found however, that it distracted from the immediate task at hand

And annoyed the holy vinegar out of the folks trying to ply their brand

This also must annoy the fairies who pore over and read the many entries

In the invisible land where all the stories magically become a venture

Becoming a little lost, scrolling this way and that I threw up my hands

Hopefully things will right themselves eventually with some secret plans

I sure hope the fairies will read this note and know they have my vote

To concoct a kind and thoughtful creative way to discourage such rote

See, I understand having stories that are not getting any attention

I just think there may be a better way to get some needed intervention

Ah well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

N.B. If writers immersed themselves into reading other people's works and stories, it would benefit them to have their stories read also. Then it would not be necessary to post non-related stories into unrelated areas that made no sense whatever. I am open to reading and reciprocating on mine and your stories. Please feel welcome to make your stories known by investing in other writer's stories. Just a thought. Have fun writing and reading.

That's so true! I've started reading other people's stories and mine have gotten more reads. I went to read the tautograms and most of them didn't even follow the criteria which really angered me.

  • I love how you incorporate the topics and themes from the different categories on Vocal. You present your concern in a most elegant way!
