When Will I Be Famous?
When will I be famous?
Surely not after I’ve died.
I want it now to spend and enjoy,
proof my poetry brings others joy.
With pen in hand, full of ink,
when will I be famous, do you think?
Will my words be read, my name known,
or just another poet, lost, alone?
I write, I wait, I let words flow,
but waiting’s getting pretty old.
Tell me, world, don’t make me guess,
will I be famous? Please Answer: yes?
I don’t want fame after I am Dead.
I want it now to know I did it.
To know I was in it and defo with it
Will I ever be famous?
Or am I just another crappy unknown Poet.

Wanting to be famous is cool, but I settle for being well-known by random people online. But your poetry is great and one day you might really be famous.
Why do you want to become famous? Your poetry fits you and we all make our own fame by the way. You are famous in your own light. Good job.
Poetry is such a special language. Most goes unnoticed for awhile.
Being a poet can be a lonely life. But it would certainly be nice to bask in a bit of glory every so often. I'd be happy with a hotel and a jacuzzi twice a year! Enjoyed your poem Marie.
