Lying uncontrollably deceiving virtually everyone

I still remember that first hit

Even though it’s what came after the verses that got me hooked

Within those lines lives the clues of all I used to be

Vibrant, Smart, and above all loving

Can anyone still see?

Are my smiles no longer pretty?

Does anyone care about me anymore?

I’m poor, weak, and wounded on the inside and out

If I could change I most definitely would

Sorry, so sorry I let everyone down

Somewhere in the deep, I swear I am still me

It still means something when you hug me

I want nothing but the best for you

I am not trash

I am not trash

Lost to myself

Lost to the world

I am not gone far

I’m only hiding where the beautiful people are
