We all remember when

we stumbled upon a truth

that made us really think

we stumbled upon a rumor

and kept it alive

We all remember when

we stumbled upon a story

that made you want to change

But this might not be in everyone's story

When you look around

and see

everyone going about

everyone hurry's

and thinks there's no need to be polite

Street manors have vanished

and we all look at each other

with worry in our eyes

We keep to ourselves

and hurry through our day

Without the being polite

is it really right

to think of each other as friends

When all we do is nod in the street

and go on with our day

we want everything for ourselves

and we want it now

we have really changed

and no longer rely on our neighbors

we we used to keep our family close

but now

we don't even listen to them

we all remember when

we stumbled upon a friend

and wanted to catch up

where has that gone

and when will we get it back?
