What Say You, Are You Falling In Love From Across The Room?
Nonsense? What do you think? I think not!
Oops, I meant to submit this poem for the little red riding hood
and the big blue hulk story. I know it is not that I just misunderstood
as I have not. I submitted two others. I am just plain spacey having the blues,
or maybe it's I am just a space case. I read not too long ago that memory issues
are a sign of depression. I have been doing my best to stay away from that.
I guess I should bring out the lamp and maybe even the yoga mat.
I am doing laughter yoga and writing poems due to grief and loss. So rat a tat tat.
Nonsense poetry is probably not the poem to submit for I fell in love from across the room.
But why not! Boom!
I did fall in love with my Volusia from across the room, it was pretty, and had a great seat and good storage.
No need to forage!
We could pack it and carry it on board.
Maybe not a sword, but who needs that except in the ward.
What kind of ward you ask? Well, does that matter when it is nonsense!
Anyone with any sense would know that doesn't make sense.
Okay no insults from me today or any day, but hey what was that?
I fell in love from across the room with the hubby, that big brat!
He is the best of all the rest and I can attest to that, he always wears a hat,
he is balding you know. And before I met him, for several months, I always wanted to rub bald heads.
I thought what nonsense, but I was preparing to have my own bald head, no dreads.
A wig or two or three. I gave them away as soon as I could, as they brought me gloom!
Then there were those babies that I fell in love with from across the room
and today, only one visitor for a room, so it just about has to be on zoom.
My babies, grandbabies, great-grandbabies, and really every baby
how could you not fall in love with all those babies, maybe
you think of animal babies, those too are so lovable
falling in love with them from across the room when able.
Now is this nonsense?
I think not. I say I can fall in love from across the room and that makes sense!
