I've kept trying and trying and trying
But I've never found it, my purpose.
At the end, I just end up sighing
And almost end up wondering if I'm worthless.
Why haven't I found it?
How long will it take?
I can't just sit and throw a fit.
Then again, I wonder, if I'm just a mistake.
I've got nobody to help me.
Nobody to say, "Hey, it's okay."
If only I did, I would be jumping with glee.
I wonder if my life was just meant to be this way.
Then I remember, that everybody has ups and downs
I've been in the "down" for quite a while now.
But I've just got to be patient for now and tune out the doubts
I'm sure I'll make it and find my purpose...somehow.
