What Is Love?

I was once asked by a rapper, "What is love to you?" I decided to put some poetry in my answer.

What is love?

Love should never be confused as an emotion. Love is always a devotion. Love is sick and twisted. Love should not ever become something bad in ones mind, do you listen?

Love is a land mine. You walk around and get hit by it unexpectedly. You don't search for love. It comes coincidentally. Trust in one an other, like you would do with a brother. Communication is key, especially if two are meant to be. Honesty is powerful and is completely underestimated, misused, and needs to be concentrated. Love has nothing to do with gender or age, in fact love should never be judged in a bad way! Love is for family, friends, and partners. Love is for everyone, don't make me explain any farther!

To love someone unconditionally is to put ones needs equal to, or above your own. To love someone unconditionally means to be hurt by them emotionally, to forgive them but not forget what they have done to you mentally.
