... are more than what they seem?
Where do we journey the moment we close our eyes?
and step across that veil that separates reality and fantasy?
Is it really just the mind's attempt to understand our world?
Is that all dreams really are?
Or are they something more?
What if
Every time we close our eyes
it's more than just a dream?
What if
when we journey, our conscious steps
not into an imaginary world
but into another universe
our dreams
a transporter into a parallel world
Where we're living a parallel life
Every time my soul transcends the veil
and steps into another dream
I see places, people
strange and unfamiliar and yet
I've been here before, I've seen them before
like a strange sense of de ja vu
As I awake from another fading dream,
I ponder
What if dreams really are more than what they seem?

Love this. Dreams can sometimes have hidden lessons and can sometimes give you vision of the future.
I love it! I have trouble remembering my dreams, but when I do remember them, I put them in a dream diary. Some seem like absurd nonsense. But with others, I'm stunned by the symbolism. Great poem! ⚡💙⚡
