What has been, what is, and what is yet to be...

That which was, so shall it be,

Of where the darkness would tread,

That which is, or has yet to be,

Has yet to die, instead,

That which could be, that which should be,

Is a desire not found by sight,

That which will be, that which is going to be,

Will be found in the darkness of night,

That which is hoped for, that which you desire,

Will be found through constant delays,

That which is yearned for, that which you aspire,

Will be built when the heart indefinitely stays,

That which discourages, that which intimidates,

Is a powerless and lingering wraith,

That which triumphs, that which is victorious,

Walks not by sight, but presses forward, by faith…
