What Gives You Comfort?
Your favorite pet, burgers, dessert, perfume, a fire in the fireplace, being in love, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a best friend, or a tree fort!
What gives you comfort?
Maybe it is a tree fort!
Probably the same for me!
Could it be?
All of those things listed above?
Giving me comfort and love!

Then there is the north shore!
And the beauty of the seashore!
Loving the water and the beach!
And there is the job where I teach
bringing such comfort to each
many of the students are a peach.

Growing up we spent the summer
at the lake, it was never a bummer
to spend the day there.
Today, the river, the ocean, and the lake are where
I find comfort, it can be just anywhere
loving fall and the colors this year here.
****
The colors of fall
Bring beauty and joy to all
Red, green and purple
****
