The advertisement emphasized “cozy” and although the photographs showed largish rooms with “everything one could wish for to make a short or long stay comfortable” we had our doubts. They couldn’t fool us. We knew how they angled the camera to make a tiny “couldn’t swing a cat” place look like a mansion. But we couldn’t afford a mansion, could we?
