Why don't we seem to understand,

Weeds are just plants

What's inconvenient to us; is just a plant

It's a garden, not a farmland

Do they really deserve to die?

All they want is the same as you and I

As they reach towards the sun

Do their existence block our sky?

Isn't there a space for us to coexist?

Weeds are just plants displaced

They struggle and fight as life persists

Weeds are just humans.

Humans are never weeds

We all long to reach for hope

We want to nurture our seeds

Weeds are just plants

Aren’t we all Human?
