Remembering their unspeakable sacrifice
Acts of valor and of selfless pride
Combat demands and collects an unconditional price
That comes with the loss of a life
Imagine a world without these, the bravest
Only their sacrifice allows us to be free
Now and forever we are called to be thankful for those face to face with the beast
