We Found Love

Home

By Latoya LawlessPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

They say home, can be, just two eyes, and a heartbeat. Meaning, home doesn’t have to be, a place, but you can feel and find comfort, in a person. The poem we found love, brings raw emotions, to life.

We found love, in the most unlikely place. Like fields of lavender, and open spaces. It’s true, that after, the storm, the rain ends, but it’s certain, that new life begins.

We found love, in a place, no one knew existed. I prayed for the one, he heard my call, happy, he didn’t miss it. A heartbeat, and a set of eyes, you’re the one, I won the prize.

We found love.
