We Are Here
Those Stories Of Dystopia Have Come Home To Roost - Here Is A Plagiaristic Poem

Introduction
Dystopian novels are meant to scare us, so I am going to take the twelve here and their subjects and produce a Plagiaristic Poem with them. The concept of Plagiaristic Poetry is explained after the poem, in which I have used the sonnet format, but this one does not rhyme all lines.
The music is "Beds Are Burning" by Midnight Oil, one of the most powerful pro-ecology songs. The attitude was carried forward by Peter Garrett when he became a politician.

Addendum
Someone recently asked what "Plagiaristic Poetry" was, and took the answer that someone else gave them that it was where someone steals other people's work which they accepted. I didn't add anything to the conversation.
One could say that all writing is plagiarism but people are often selective in what they apply it to.
"Plagiaristic Poetry" is just a play on words, nothing more, but this is the concept.

Your poetry is always so clever and different, Mike. As a reader, I always learn something new. I grew up on Midnight Oil, an iconic Australian band. The live film clip to this is amazing. Garret was one of those people who looked like an epileptic beetle when he danced, but boy, he had rhythm. Thanks for another great memory jolt.
This poem is great and gives short synopses of each in a way. Good job.
Nicely done!
We are here indeed, plus climate change and wars. But at this point, all individuals can do is put pressure on their governments that do not seem to care about what is going on.
I like this type of plagiaristic use <3
Sadly, dystopia is happening. There is war.Climate change This was poignant, Mike.
Omgggg, why would they even believe that? Loved your poem!
