Laying on the beach,

listening to the waves of your voice, the smell of your fresh ocean breeze,

and the calmness of the warm sand between my toes.

The sound of your laughter makes volcanoes settle,

Tranquilise the oncoming storm,

And fills the holes in my chest with the rain drops of your words.

The storm can disguise tears, but not a smile.

The sand can warm a heart and calm nerves.

I find comfort in your eyes.

Your thoughts feed my hunger to know everything about you.

Let’s light a candle, pour a drink, and lay on the beach.

As the laughs continue.
