Wavelengths

They say green is the colour of envy,

And blue, the colour of sorrow.

Yet green gleams on new days,

Today -

Growing into -

Tomorrow.

And blue, with its vastness,

Reminds us

'As above,

So below'

Warm tears from the sun,

Continue to fleck -

All that is bold and

Yellow.

These colours of life flow through us,

In our rivers of red that stream,

They contain a world of multitudes,

Feeding lightning bolts and dreams.

The beauty of the Earth's palette,

Lies not in signs nor moods,

But rather in its ability to connect,

One with all,

Me with you.
