Waiting for What’s True

Choosing Self-Worth Over Modern Dating Trends

Waiting for What’s True

Most women now stand firm, alone,

Choosing peace over the unknown.

Dating today feels hollow, unkind,

A fleeting spark, a shallow bind.

DMs fill with empty lines,

"Good morning, beautiful," rehearsed designs.

Feelings caught, but hearts unsure,

Promises fade, leaving nothing pure.

Hookups pass like ships at sea,

Moments of thrill, no guarantee.

Situationships, a hazy game,

Where love is just a borrowed name.

But these women know their worth,

Refuse the cost of fleeting mirth.

They won't settle for less than true,

A bond that holds, a love that grew.

So single they stand, heads held high,

Content to wait, to question why.

For something real is worth the wait,

And love, not trend, will seal their fate.
