Waiting for Santa

In My Santa Suit

I’m still waiting for Santa in my Santa suit

I don’t have a chimney

so I’m not sure how he’s planning to get in

I left the door to the balcony open

but it’s too cold and it had to be closed

He won’t come through the front door

so there’s no point leaving it ajar

There’s a little hole in the ceiling above the TV

but he won’t fit through it

unless he becomes a Santa ant

He can ride through the clouds with elves and reindeer

but he can’t ride through a hole I believe

I could wear my coat and boots and wait for him outside

but I doubt I’ll see him so low on the ground

I could wait for him on the roof near the frozen pool

but it’ll be dangerous for the reindeer if they crash on the ice

I guess that there’s no point in waiting for him

as he has too many presents to deliver

and I’m not a kid any longer

I didn’t ask for much this year

and I already got it

in the last week of November

It was a gift from Greece

so Santa had nothing to do with it

I wonder who did

Methinks I was very good this year
