I.

So tonight that I might see--

You are lost, and I know me;

You are lost, and I am free.

II.

My choices have voices

They whisper in the night

Sometimes they fight

They shout about missed chances

They link hands and do dances

Around my hard choices

Mine are brave voices

Your choices have voices

I hope they yell in the dark

About your missed mark

And dance around your lost chance

Mock your fool ideas of romance

And ridicule your sad choices

Yours are weak voices

Our choices have voices

Mine are bravely honest

Yours are cowardly lies

Just like you promised
