Vocal Social Society's Haiku Honeys
A Celebration of all the Droplets of Nectar Entered into our Challenge
Thank you.
What a joy it has been to host the Haiku Honey? Challenge on behalf of the Vocal Social Society Facebook Group. I am genuinely awestruck by the quality, range, depth, and emotion that has poured in. The talent that lies behind these bite-sized poems is truly gargantuan and inspirational.
What am I talking about?
Over the weekend, nineteen Vocal creators participated in a sumptuous feast of Haiku, bringing various delectable and moreish offerings to our Facebook group's communal table. With only seventeen syllables in each morsel, they aroused our senses, whet our appetites, got us thinking, and evoked some serious desire!!
This week The VSS group will be voting on who will be crowned our Haiku Honey? Champion. If you want to join in and cast your vote visit us here for a pinned thread with information on how to show your love for your favourites through our secret ballot.
Voting closes 22nd September at 10pm GMT.
Podium places announced 24th September.
Be warned... It's a tough one to judge!
Now, in no particular order, feast your eyes on all the outstanding Haiku Honeys...

About the Creator
Caroline Jane
CJ lost the plot a long time ago. Now, she writes to explore where all paths lead, collecting crumbs of perspective as her pen travels. One day, she may have enough for a cake, which will, no doubt, be fruity.

Lol, sadly my brain didn't come up with anything before the deadline. But it's okay, I'll be cheering for everyone!
Loved this VSS challenge!!! Thank you for initiating this!
There appears to be a glitch in this. Apologies I shall cycle round and fix it. @Babsiverson and @mothercombs yours were there when I submitted I am sure! Sincere apologies. 🙈
Sweet!!! Fabulous and reminds me that it's time to eat!!!❤️❤️💕
Delicious assortment of yummy haikus.
Thanks for the inclusion. Mine seems rather dull now...
I’m sorry to any meat or dairy haiku creators.. I can’t read them 🙈 All that I did read are off the charts in quality! Cathy’s Raisin bread really stood out to me because it felt so emotional, but they really are all fantastic 🙏✨💫 soooo glad I’m not judging!!!
Thanks for sharing these Caroline, your work rate is phenomenal, and you have given me a lot of quality work to enjoy. Thank you once more
Fantastic Haikus!
Really? Mine should not be there! 🙄 Thank you so much for organising it! I missed a couple so will read now! It was amazing to see what wonderfulness was created!
There are some I need to read, but the ones I've read are some of my favourite haikus in a long while! Loved this challenge so much, well done Caroline! The others I've not read, I'll get round to! I wish all participants well in the contest!
