Vocal Gold
And The Others
I’m not a real writer, I’m a make believe fraud
I grasp to make rhymes, like a wordsmithing god
I take too many liberties and expect you to comment
Falling deeply in love with my word mingled, vomit
Some days I am lucky, and I write it all down
The lyrical treasures. I pick up off the ground
And some days I lie here, tucked warmly in bed
Racking my brain for something I’ve never said
And that would be hard, cause I talk all the time
Spit it all out, tie it up with a rhyme
Scurry to upsplash, to find me a picture
Title and submit it as my insomniac feature
So, please kindly smile, and move on to the talent
The ones writing gold, for the next Vocal challenge

The life of a poet.
Your mingled word vomit is still gold to me!
Love it! Wonderfully done!
This is far too relatable! but you are a real and great writer!
Dear Mrs. 'k' - Ah, yes you are always "OutThere" - I just ordered new glasses to keep up with you; fer real. - Sugar Daddy - 'j'
This made me smile....you are such a prolific writer.
I hate that you feel this way! 😩❤️ I write a lot too (but I guess I delete a lot of things because I feel like my midnight ramblings are too dark for my vocal page lol)
♥️♥️♥️♥️📝

My friend, in our eyes & hearts you are not merely gold. You're platinum if not even better. It does remind me of a joke I once read (okay, I read it more than once) in a book of called something like "World's Worst Jokes" some friends gave me for my birthday long, long ago. Sally: Mommy! Mommy! Timmy just threw up in the bathroom. Mommy: So why are you crying? Sally: Because Tommy's getting all the big chunks. And now I believe I may be sick.
We are always looking for inspiration , excellent words
You're on fire - hook me up!
