I see your friend on bended knees,

Fighting my unseen battles

I see your friend crying,

Sharing my deepest hurts

I see a friend with open arms,

Forgiving my worst woes

I see your friend I amidst my fears,

Cheering me to boldness

I see a friend smiling,

Painting my pains with jovial hues

I see a friend walking me miles,

Quenching my boredom with jokes

I see a friend standing strong,

Holding firm my feeble hands

I see a friend speaking,

Defending my just cause

I see a friend at the peak of my joys,

Dancing nice steps to my sure victories

I see a friend...

Someday, will I say it was you?
