Viridian

A poem for those who go by unnoticed...

By Belvinder KPublished 5 years ago 1 min read
Viridian pines at Jasper National Park, Calgary

Dear Viridian,

Amongst shrouded mists, you hide your glory,

Between valleys of snow-capped mountains, you weave,

Along unnoticed sidewalks, you stand effortlessly,

Amidst enchanting forests, you forbid entry.

In a ghostly wisper, you walk the Earth

Through mispelled lips, you go by unperceived,

Ignored...unnoted...overlooked,

Yet through your wise eyes, you provide.

The power you hold is to behold,

And when you choose to walk,

Worlds will bleed before,

People will kneel towards,

Societies will crumble about,

You are the true serenity of serendipitous beauty.
