Valentines The Day After yes or no
Did each others lips š say yes or no
Did Cupidās bow strike true last night,
all flushed with thrill, all laced with light?
Or did it sting, a passing thing,
Promises tied on severed string?
Was it a life to come just you two
Or another mistaken todo.
Will you marry or will you part
Did anything start?

The Weight of it all
The weight doesnāt arrive like a burden. It arrives like a verdict. There is no warning, no shift in atmosphere, no moment to prepare. One breath I am sinking, the next I am pinned ā held down by something I canāt see, canāt name, canāt negotiate with. The ground doesnāt just catch me. It claims me.
