People often say that hard work guarantees rewards. However, no one defines what 'hard work' truly entails or when those rewards will materialize. Simple efforts yield only simple results. Life is a competition, a game. When your efforts merely match those of others, life naturally lacks distinction.

Show your true commitment, and let life witness your sincerity. Instead of resisting difficulties or retreating from setbacks, and especially avoiding any effort or change, step outside your comfort zone. Smooth out your rough edges little by little, integrating yourself into life. When you feel you can't endure any longer, tell yourself to hold on a little longer. Perhaps hope will appear.

Blindly working hard isn't a genuine effort; the challenging path is the uphill one. Too many people follow the easy downhill route. It's more difficult, yes, but the scenery you'll encounter is unseen by others.

Indeed, the more challenging the path, the steeper the uphill climb. The uphill road presents far greater challenges. On a smooth road, you compete with others. On the uphill path, you are conquering yourself bit by bit. Did you surpass your former self yesterday? Are you simply repeating yesterday's efforts today?

If you discover that your so-called efforts are merely a repetition of the previous day, it's time for introspection. Such repetitions are not effort.

While ascending, keep your sights on the target ahead. Also, periodically look back to assess which obstacles you've overcome, what experiences you've gained, and how to proceed forward.
