Inconsequential he seems, seldom coming in view. But cross him once, he’ll tell the whole murder of you.
And they’ll pass along to the ones that do not know. Then they’ll pass it on and so on it will go.
And forget you he won’t, nor will the birds of his feather. And every hopeless time you evade, they will be there in tether.
There’s a reason no doubt, he has such a lore. A symbol of good fortune, or perhaps good fortune never more.
If the words you’ve so read have not given clue, beware of the crow, I implore unto you.
He is as clever as they come, as well you should know. If you put him asunder, forever he’ll follow wherever you may go.
And with him a murder may be in flock. And they’ll too repay your transgression with every tick of the clock.
So think twice before you bestow him feelings of ill will, because even in your death, the crow will follow you still.
