Spring leaps forward merrily,

breathing life anew;

Kissing green the meadows

With lips like honeysuckle'd dew.

The once snow sprinkled wind

Is baked beneath a mellow sun,

To a crisp and timid busy breeze;

The best is yet to come.

Summer pounces playfully

Rustling through the trees;

Submitting to Sun's fiery lust

As its rays caress the seas.

Endless days embrace restless nights

Bathing in the light of Smiling Moon.

Though memories blaze eternally:

The moments end too soon.

Fall creeps into the sky in clouds,

And mourns a dreaded rainy day.

The earth begins the crone and crack,

As naked flowers fade away.

The bunnies burrow deep and snug

Beneath the withered grass;

The leaves burn an orangish red

Their passion struggling to last.

Winter stomps in frostily

Burying warmth beneath the snow

Howling winds of fury,

Snuffing remnants of summer's glow

The best has come and gone

The once blazing flame has died at last

But in the distance spring waits to blossom

So goes the tale of a budding romance
