it's the dirt, it sticks
it's ours, mine, yours, it's old, new
it's existential

Gorgeous! The earth which gives us life can also be held in the palm of a hand - existential indeed!
I applaud the wit in which this is written. Well done
Oh! Very clever, sir. Very clever indeed!
A poem about what life means to a point. Good job.

I feel dirty just reading this! Yes, it’s us! Have you seen the Jodie Foster movie Contact I.e written by Sagan (but I’ve not read the novel) and she picks up the dirt at the end and there’s a few silvery sparkles in it. I love that scene. Spoiler alert, 🚨 it’s the final scene haha.
Apparently I'm the only one who doesn't get this 😅😅
It's dirt, lol! And thoroughly essential for both life & joy.
Wonderfully written haiku. Powerful and true <3 Don't forget, the dirt is even composed of those who lived before and will be composed of those living now and those to come.
Existential: 1: of, relating to, or affirming existence. 2a: grounded in existence or the experience of existence b: Having being in time and space Dirt: loose or packed soil or sand: EARTH Whoa!!
Yes! Yes... Exactly what I've been trying to say in so many words. 💋
Intense and insightful!!!
Amazing how so few words can mean so much!
Very well done! Really gets the thought process churning! https://youtu.be/vQWo0YSdKGQ?si=0sJVZzOLqIu2GR-W
So honestly, intensely human!
It's the human condition! Cool haiku, Paul!
