Unspoken Vows

For him and her

By Jennifer Ann TiptonPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

Together we stand before each other

On our Wedding Day

Looking into each other's eyes

Wondering what to say

Will she love and keep me

Until the day I die?

Will she have an hold me

Whenever I weep and cry?

Will she accept me for who I am

And even for whom I'm not?

Will she believe forever in me

Even when we've fought?

Will he love and keep me

Until the day I die?

Will he have an hold me

Whenever I weep and cry?

Will he have patience for me

Even when I don't?

Will he always believe in me

No matter if I won't?

Together we will support each other

Through life's endless trail

Together we will complete our lives together

Even if only for awhile

Together we will ride the tides and back

To see how far we've gone

Together we will fight the odds

No matter if it takes so long

We will love and keep one another

Until the day we die

We will have and hold each other

Whenever we weep and cry

We are but two ends of a line

Twisted round to complete the circle of life

Together we now make a whole

Together we are husband and wife
