A Love She Never Knew

I can't call it heartbreak,

'Cause she never dated me.

But still, my heart feels heavy,

Like love was never meant to be.

I can't call it heartbreak,

'Cause she never kissed me.

Yet, every time I hear her name,

It hurts like she’s a part of me.

She smiled, and my world lit up,

But she never smiled just for me.

She spoke of love, of dreams so bright,

But never saw what I could be.

I watched her walk with someone else,

While I stayed quiet in the rain.

She never knew how much I cared,

Yet I still feel this silent pain.

No promises, no words were said,

Yet my heart still broke in two.

A love that never had a chance,

Still left me lost, still left me blue.
