What Happens to unrequited love?
Unrequited love
Is love
That one can never let go of
Love that feels like
It could be a Dreamlike Fantasy
The fantasy of nothing but Sweets
Sweets like Cake and donuts
Or maybe it’s a ghostlike painting
The painting hanging on a lonely dark wall
That no one ever notices
But it's still there,
Waiting to be noticed by someone
Like a star in the moonless night
It waits
Always shining
Even in the day
It gives light
Could this be what love is?
Unrequited Love?
Then does that mean,
It never goes away?
It just stays there
Like the sweetness of cake on one's tongue
Or the painting in the hallway
No one notices
Or the star
That keeps on shining
That is Unrequited Love
Unrequited love
Is everlasting
